The inaugural WA Heritage Festival is part of an Australia wide commitment by National Trusts in each state and territory to partner with communities and value our heritage. The theme of this year’s festival is “Amazing Stories: Innovation and Invention”.
Festival events and activities might therefore be inspired by an amazing story of ingenuity and invention in a local community, or by the importance of valuing and preserving heritage more generally.
The National Trust (WA) has encouraged community groups around the state to get involved and is coordinating an exciting and diverse Festival Program which can be accessed anytime on line.
